Contact between a non-residential parent and child(ren) in the presence of an unbiased third party responsible for observing the visit and ensuring the safety of those involved.
VMS Supervised Visits are:
Off-Site
Off-site visits allows parents to participate in time-sharing at various community locations, including parks, bowling alleys, shopping facilities, pottery-painting studios, the beach, libraries, recreation centers, and many other locations. In-home visits may be an option for some families.
Flexible
VMS offers flexible scheduling during weekdays and weekends, half-day visits, whole day visits, and options in between.
Documented
VMS documents each visit’s location, duration, monitor, and parental compliance with VMS policies. A full narrative of the visits are available per the fee schedule.
